Reserve Closed. (7 December, 1996)

The Baviaanskloof wilderness area in the Eastern Cape will be closed to tourists until the end of January 1997 due to flood damage. Reserve manager, Tertius Schoeman, said te road between Willowmore and Patensie, the R332, had been washed away in places, making it dangerous.
